Busy executives can often experience burnout if they do not have outlets to help balance their time. I'm the proud dog-mom of a Bullboxer rescue and spending time with him is one of my favorite ways to unplug from the daily grind.

We got Sameer at 8 weeks old and our lives immediately changed. Reminiscent of the newborn days of my sons, I got up with Sameer every two to three hours so he could go potty outside until he became the BEST housebroken pup ever!

Bullboxers are an interesting breed being half pitbull and half boxer. Our family had to understand and adapt to this unique personality. To say that he is mouthy is an understatement. He most definitely gets his point across when he is hungry, bored, or understimulated.

We decided that a couple of days of Doggie Daycare were in order to keep him socialized with other dogs and to give him an energy release. In addition, we keep lots of cognitive activities available throughout the day.

Sameer has a Barkbox-Superchewer subscription which provides durable and fun chew toys for a doggie who seemingly can chew through steel. Bullboxers are sniffers and a 45 minute walk goes a long way to stave off boredom. Understimulated Bullboxers can adopt destructive behaviors to fill the activity void.
